We have
another review on the Blue Angel 7. This time it's from
Jason Hardy of Rock Ramps.
I remember when I was just a kid and
there was no such thing as an abec rating system for bearings and
there was only a handful of companies producing them. Nowadays,
there seems to be about one hundred companies producing them and only
a handful of who are doing it right. Blue Angel Bearings is one
of those companies. These Blue Angels are the highest quality
bearings that I've personally have skated for a long time. What
I'm about to tell you is the truth... these are one of the best
bearings on the market today. I've tried them all and believe me
these Blue Angels are strong, smooth and super fast. They are so
strong they outlasted a brand new set of Gullwing Army trucks that I
just destroyed. I purchased this set of trucks 2 months ago and
just finished them off today. I bent all of the axle ends on the
trucks pulling off 3' - 4' airs off of my 2' launch ramp in my shop.
And believe it or not, but nothing happened to the bearings... they
are still spinning smooth and strong just like new! I also
power slide the heck out of these bearings everyday, and I'm talking
10' power slides across my shop floor and still nothing!
Personally I can't believe that they're this good! It's unreal!
Take it from me... don't get fooled by all the other bearing
manufactures on the market today. Save yourself some money, time
and headaches and go get yourself a set of Blue Angels today!
You'll be glad you did!

We would like to take this
opportunity to thank Jason Hardy for his review on the Blue Angel 7.
(Jan. 25/05)
We have just received an email
from Jason Hardy on the distance and the number of power slides.
He measured the tracks on his shop floor and they are over 12 feet in
distance. Plus, he said he was doing at least 12 per day for the
last 40 days. That works out to be at least 480 power slides.
With all these power slides, he was also doing 4' drops.
Here is an excerpt from his email.
I
actually measured the tracks of the power slides today at the shop and
I'm doing over 12' power slides. That is alot of pressure and
torque for any set of bearings to take. They still run like new
and spin forever. They spin remarkably longer than any other
bearing that I have come across. I guarantee you will never have
a problem with these bearings ever.

Once again,
we would like to take this
opportunity to thank Jason Hardy. (Jan.27/05)

Here is Part II of Tom-E of Skateboard City
review on Blue Angel 7 bearings.
First off, it must be said that these are ABEC 7 bearings
which is pretty much as highly rated as bearings get for
skateboards. I was on ABEC 3 Black Panthers, a well
known brand of bearings before I put these on and its a huge
difference between the two. The price between the Black
Panthers and these is very similar but the quality is very far
apart. These ABEC 7's are insane at keeping you rolling.
If you can stomp your tricks clean I don't see a reason why
you would ever need to push in the middle of a run again.
The colour is pretty sweet too, the blue shields (which are
non-removable) look really great. These bearings as I
just said, do not have removable shields but I think its for
the better. My Black Panthers had removable shields and
I found that they popped out and got deformed and just
contributed to making them worse, so it's not really a bad
thing that these come with non-removable shields.
So to sum it up, ABEC 7 bearings, amazingly quite,
super quick, for an awesome price.
And an especially good deal to Canadians due to the shipping
cost. I can honestly say these bearings are incomparable
to any I've had before in the way they keep you going and how
quiet they are. All that for a good price. Definitely
worth it.
Thank you Tom-E on
your second part of your review. (Jan. 31/05)
Here's an email we received from our new Canadian team skater Josh Smith:
Just thought I'd send you
an email and let you know how the bearings are holding up...well I've never
owned a set of bearings and not had at least 1 break within a week...your
bearings are so solid and once you break them in they are so smooth and they
roll forever. Blue Angel Bearings are the best bearings I've ever rode in my
life, they are so strong.
Talk to you later
